Vincent Gray (2001) – The Cause of Global Warming – Frontier Centre for Public Policy – http://www.fcpp.org/publication.php/34
«Three of the four methods of measuring global temperature show no signs of global warming: Proxy measurements (tree rings, sediments etc) for the past 1000 years; Weather balloons (radiosondes) for the past 44 years; Satellites (MSU Units) for the past 21 years. The fourth method, surface measurement at weather stations, gives an averaged mean global rise of a mere 0.6°C over 140 years, but is intermittent and irregular. Individual records are highly variable, regional, and sometimes, particularly in remote areas, show no change, or even a fall in temperature. It is concluded that temperature measurements carried out away from human influence show no evidence of global warming.»
The Associated Press – Colorado scientists far apart in global warming debate – Summit Daily News – 30/09/2006 – http://www.summitdaily.com/article/20060930/NEWS/109300057
“The words «global warming» provoke a sharp retort from Colorado State University meteorology professor emeritus William Gray: «It’s a big scam.”. And the name of climate researcher Kevin Trenberth elicits a sputtered «opportunist.»
Vincent Gray – The IPCC: Spinning the Climate – NZ Climate Science – 09/07/2008 – http://nzclimatescience.net/images/PDFs/gray2.ipcc%20spin.pdf
“The Chapters in «Climate Change 2007» are only slightly rearranged and they all push the same message, enforced by an increase in gloomy «opinions» derived from the «spin» process described herein”

Group rejects ‘unfounded’ global warming claims – New Zealand Herald – 01/06/2006 – http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10379768
«A group of leading climate scientists has announced the formation of the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition, aimed at refuting what it believes are unfounded claims about man-made global warming … He said members of the coalition had had enough of «over-exaggerated» claims about the effects of man-made global warming and aimed to provide a balance to «what is being fed to the people of New Zealand». »
Tim Lambert – You, too, can be a leading climate scientist – Deltoid, 09/06/2006 – http://scienceblogs.com/deltoid/2006/05/you_too_can_be_a_leading_clima.php
«In the olden days to become a leading climate scientist you had to work hard, do lots of research and publish it in good journals. Now there’s a quicker method. Put out a press release … Expert reviewer for the IPCC» doesn’t mean that they asked him to review material — all it means is that he asked to see the draft report. The only real requirement to be a reviewer is to sign an agreement not to publicly comment on the draft. Of course, just because he hasn’t any qualifications or experience in climate research doesn’t mean that he might not be able to offer some insight.»
James Hoggan – NRSP: Not Really Science People – Desmogblog – 17/10/2006 – http://www.desmogblog.com/nrsp-not-really-science-people
«Think about that for a minute. A true grassroots campaign occurs when a bunch of people who share an interest rise up spontaneously to fight for a common interest. Which of your neighbours might be inclined to rise up spontaneously to «counter the Kyoto Protocol and other greenhouse gas reduction schemes»? Conscientious objectors in the war on climate change don’t join astroturf groups.»
James Hoggan – NRSP Controlled by Energy Lobbyists – Desmogblog – 18/01/2007 – http://www.desmogblog.com/nrsp-controlled-by-energy-lobbyists
«The creation of the NRSP as an “arm’s length” “grassroots” organization also enabled High Park and to avoid identifying who is paying for the NRSP’s public campaign against climate change regulations. The federal government’s own website makes this kind of “grassroots” lobbying subject to the restrictions of the Lobbyists’ Registration Act (subject to an important loophole).»
